Zumba Fest Fun-Raiser for Ryan Clark Scholarship
Join the fun Saturday, March 19, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the second annual ZUMBAFEST to benefit the Ryan Clark Scholarship and Community Service Award. The event will be held at Blue Ridge Elementary at 550 Blue Ridge Drive, Evans, Georgia, 30809. Tickets are $10 in advance; $15 at the door. Call 706.556.0609 for tickets. This year’s scholarship will be given May 6 at Lakeside High School. For more information, click on the Ryan Clark button. Zumba combines Latin and international music with dance to make exercise fun.

Operation Drive Smart Expo on March 14
Check out Operation Drive Smart Expo at Harlem High School from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, March 14. Keeping teens safe is the event's focus. Teen drivers will have a chance to participate in the seatbelt rollover simulator and DUI golf cart. There will be lots of information on how to stay safe when driving, along with fun and prizes. The event is provided by the Duluth Police Department, the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety, Harlem High School and the Columbia County Drug-Free Coalition.
