Connection Partnership endorses the use of nationally recognized
evaluation standards to guide the evaluation efforts of the community
collaboratives. Collaboratives use these standards to guide thinking
and decision making related to evaluation at the collaborative level.
The
use of these evaluation standards helps collaboratives to ensure
that their evaluation efforts:
- Serve
the needs of the collaborative stakeholders.
- Are
realistic, reasonable and practical.
- Meet
legal and ethical requirements.
- Convey
comprehensive, accurate information that is useful for determining
the value or merit of the strategy, program or activity being
evaluated.
