Welcome

The Lee County Family Connection collaborative serves as the local decision-making body, bringing community partners together to develop, implement, and evaluate plans that address the serious challenges facing Lee County's children and families.

We Need You!
Volunteers Needed:

Do you have a desire to positively impact our Lee County Youth? Family Connection needs your help in developing leadership skills and valuable assets for our students. Multi-Year Strategic Plan

July 1, 2011 - Lee County Family Connection implemented a new Multi-Year Strategic Plan.  The results of our comprehensive community assessment lead to the development of our new Multi-Year Strategic plan.  This plan was written based upon what our community revealed as their areas of concern for our community - in regards to our children and families.

Under the Oaks & Around the Town 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

We are proud to announce that Lee County Family Connection will be hosting a 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk as a fundraiser to establish and fund a Scholarship for a Senior Member of the Lee County Youth Council.

This race will be partnered on the same day as the Lee County Chamber of Commerce “Under the Oaks Art Fest” on Saturday, March 12, 2011.  Previously, this race was known as the “Run Around the Town.”

The new name for this race is “Under the Oaks & Around the Town” 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.

The race registration form can be downloaded here.  If you are not a runner, or cannot run this race, you can still support this event by making a donation towards the scholarship fund.

Be on the lookout for information (very soon) about the Under the Oaks Art Fest and the Living Healthy in Lee County Health Fair which will be on the same day (March 12) – following the race – from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

It will be a GREAT day in Lee County!

4th Annual Back to School Bash

The 4th Annual Back to School Bash was a HUGE success.  Thank you to all the vendors, volunteers and sponsors that made this event possible.

178 Families registered at this event.  The first 350 school-age children received a LC Trojans book bag filled with school supplies.  Twenty-two vendors provided resource information to families and additional school supplies to children.
