Our Family Connection collaborative serves as the local decision-making body, bringing community partners together to develop, implement, and evaluate plans that address the serious challenges facing Georgia’s children and families.

Monroe County Family Connection has completed the writing of the 3 Year Strategic Plan.   Through the efforts of our collaborative and vested members of the community, our plan will be introducing a new program dedicated to middle school students who are on academic track for a post-secondary education.  The identified students will also be the first from their families to seek a post secondary degree.  The program will include mentoring, career guidance, and financial planning for the students.  The parents will be invited to seminars throughout the year addressing financial planning, educational support and how to obtain a post-secondary degree.  Click on the link to see the full plan!  3 Year Strategic Plan
